Which Island Do You Suggest in Thailand for Fly-by Tourists ?

Hello all;

I'd appreciate if you could suggest your preference on which island to choose in Thailand for 2 weeks - except Phuket and Pattaya. Please keep in mind that we'll be flying, not cruising.

Best Regards,
Mehmet CAN

I'd go live in a tent on the Surin Islands.. but that's me, not for everyone.

If you like scuba diving, then Koh Tao
If you like to party and take illicit drugs, then Koh Phangyang (sp)
If you want slightly more up-market resort style, then Koh Samui

You can fly directly into Koh Samui from Bangkok (or get a ferry from Surat Thani on the mainland). The other two are reached by ferry from Koh Samui
