Western Aleutians anyone this summer?

Hi,
Is anyone planning to sail along Aleutian Chain this summer?

Group of 2-3 ham radio operators with abt 500lbs of camping/radio equipment looking for passage from Adak to Ogliuga and Amchitka Islands (100/200miles West from Adak). We plan to be in Adak July 16th and will have 3 weeks before flight back to Seattle from Adak.

Willing to compensate you for your help and expenses. Goal of our trip is to "activate" islands for ham radio. More details about our 2008 Cleveland Volcano trip can be seen in this video:

If you are a ham and interested, you are welcome to join us.

Thanks for looking.

No but I would LOVE to!
Not this year (or even this boat) buy sometime we will sail there! I wanna cuddle a Kodiak Bear! (Nic calls the Kodak Bears!).

I wanna catch salmon.... and I wanna see people wearing red checked fluffy shirts.

The world is just so full of wonderful places

I forgot to mention that if you go back in the blogs there is quite a bit of information on their planning.

Is there any residual radioactivity left from the nuclear testing they did on Amchitka?
