West Coast of Baja

I am planning my return from Baja to San Diego. One of the things I was wondering was if it is possible to anchor in Scanlon's Lagoon or guerrero Negro. I have left my copy of Charlie's Charts on the boat in Mexico. I would love to see the breeding grounds but don't know about the legality and the safety of going in to the lagoon. And whether there is enough water I draw 6 feet. If anyone has visited this spot please let me know.

I believe it is restricted to guided tours only by the mexicans. You can anchor outside at Morro Santo Domingo behind the point. It is not recommended.Entrance inside is suitable only for Pangas.
