Mantula--great job publicizing your plans for a marina in Cambodia--I took a childhood vacation to Koh Chang on the Cambodian-Thai border and love that beautiful area of the world. I'm so excited that cruising in these remote areas of SE Asia are opening up. Please send me a PM if you know of any cruising sailboats for sale in the area...

Thank you for your wonderful words!
* You are not the first one who asked me about the market for cruising yachts in cambodia. The answer to all - not in this market. Only small boats or local wooden ships.
(for example RIB boat sells Aussie)

And the demand for yachts is! Those who want to sell or lease the charter - welcome to cooperate. On the basis of the marina I want to make this market.

Now I, as promised, I returned from Russia in Sihanoukville. Arrived May 20.
The case construction is slow, but it is Asia with its specificity. I'm not surprised

But not limited to Asia. Champions of the world by the slowness of Suomi
only sailed on May 24 container pontoons.

Ahead of the summer (low season), we will also slow to install pontoons

Hello, gentlemen sailors!

To report: May 24 arrived pontoons and other equipment for the marina.

Pontoons and launched on towed to the installation site. Now meet with the rest of the equipment and begin installation.

A very long time. Asia + Finland. Two large snail or a turtle

Re: The First Marina in Cambodia. Soon

here you can see the equipment for the marina. The build process.

Usually sailors see a ready-made marina. And what does it consist?

For example, mooring fingers

Continue the installation of pontoons and equipment. Really want to open a marina in October...

In the meantime, here are the popular moorings

Re: The First Marina in Cambodia. Soon

good to see it coming along so well, how are your arrangements with customs and immigration going in regards to clearing in and any idea of the costs involved? We need to do a haul out before coming down there which we will do in Pattaya but october would work out well for us. looking forward to meeting you

For an accurate answer, I wrote to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cambodia. The answer will tell. Also suggest you write to them with your questions.
cambodiaevisa@mfaic.gov.kh

At the moment I have a contract with the port authorities about the arrival of boats in our marina. I want to simplify the procedure.
