Sydney Customs great!!!!!!

Every wanker from the begining of the Pacific to the end has warned us about clearing into Sydney as the customs officials are meant to be the most crappy, evil, draconian bastards that ever lived.

Well let me tell you... and let it be saved and indexed here on the net that... the Sydney Customs are the nicest and friendliest mob you could ever meet!
Quarantien costs $240 which is the worlds highest, but they guy we had was wonderful!

So like so much other stuff you hear from cruisers: filter it! They may be talking about an isolated instance of a difficulty etc. As a mob of people that we delt with the Small Boat Office in Sydney is terrific

Good to hear that, and in fact it is not the highest.
We paid more last year entering Croatia.

We aint setteling back into life here. We head out in 3 weeks to cruise up the coast

Yah, I would love to hear how your trip was from the islands back to OZ. We plan on doing that "milk run" when we get our boat. Any and all information on that route is always appreciated!!
