Glad I'm not totally alone on that! After all, "Great Lakes" is a sub-forum and they are much smaller than many Pacific areas in question.

I would agree. Even though, to Canadians, that area is the Pacific South West and the weatherfax is the NE Pacific. Maybe we could call it the Salish Sea, but that does not include the area north of Desolation.

There are lots of us in who sail in that bit of heaven.

Yup, add BC Canadians and Alaskans to the list of possible sub-forums.
