San Francisco Pickup/Drop off Dock

Is there a dock on the waterfront of San Francisco that I can pull into and pick up and drop off friends? Our marina is 1.5 hours south of the bridge...I have a boat in San Fran but do not live in the area, so I'm somewhat unfamiliar with what's available. Just looking for a real quick 5 minute pick-up spot.

Guest Docks San Francisco Bay

Keep in mind that odd numbered piers are north of the SF Bay Bridge and even numbered South of the bridge.

Not mentioned in the above guide is a new yacht dock between the Bay Bridge and Pier 39 that is available to yachts to tie up to and board passengers. There is a maximum length though and I think it was 50 feet. Its so new that it does not show up on Google Earth. I just happened to notice it one day while out on the Bay. Sorry I don't have any more information about it.

I'm pretty sure it's the Ferry terminal building that's the divider between even and odd, not the bridge.

Anyway, the free dock is at Pier 1+1/2, with a length limit of 40' and a time limit of 3 hours. Info: http://www.latitude38.com/lectronic/...yid=202#Story3
