Restricted Access Sailing to China ?

I have charts and all that and have been doing my research before I take off.

Does anybody have any information on sailing to China and the China sea? Moreover, as a US citizen, will I be restricted from entering ports? Be given a "biased" investigation when going through customs?

As much as I want to see that part of asia, I don't know if the headache is worth it.

Tried to find stuff on the internet but nothing helpful is coming up.

Docking fees are outrageous - up to 1000 per day. Research my past threads on this and the invaluable information that a lot of sailors with more experience than I have passed on.

Best regards,
