Pacific Islands Visas ? Bond Required ?

I have been using this site and it says all destinations from french Polynesia toward AU will not require me get a visa besides Tonga, but I can get one on arrival.

http://french-polynesia.visahq.com.au/

Can this site be trusted? Does this sound correct?

I am an AU citizen with AU passport and have also recently acquired a German Passport. Nikki is a AU citizen with AU passport and British passport.

Quote:
Cook islands are in association with NZ. Cook Islands tourist visa is not required for citizens of Australia for a stay up to 31 days. (visahq)

American Samoa. American Samoa tourist visa is not required for citizens of Australia for a stay up to 30 days. (visahq)

Tonga. Visa on arrival for 31 days. (visahq)

Niue. Niue tourist visa is not requiredfor citizens of Australia for a stay up to 30 days. (visahq)

Fiji. Fiji tourist visa is not requiredfor citizens of Australia for a stay up to 180 days. (visahq)

Vanuatu. Vanuatu tourist visa is not required for citizens of Australia for a stay up to 30 days. (visahq)

New Caledonia. New Caledonia tourist visa is not required for citizens of Australia for a stay up to 90 days. (visahq)
Does any of these destinations require a bond besides French Polynesia? Can Nikki and I get out of the bond due to our European Passports?

Our boat is registered in AU and we live in AU. Will this make a difference?

i belive it is an immigration bond, rather than a customs bond,to the value of a return air ticket.

instituted by the french in the 70's when they got tired of yachties overstaying visa's due to lack of funds to move on.

No problem anywhere in the SP with your visas/rego. Just rock on up and do the paperwork. Vanuatu has recently changed from free monthly extensions for visas to charging but it's still cheap and the guys are cool to deal with (with the usual proviso of respecting them and their laws)
