Then again, who would care if the human race was wiped off the face of the Earth?

Hey, if I'm still around in 30 years, I will be on borrowed time anyway

I'd second that notion.

I don't want to sound religous. But I have noticed how things around the world is worser than it was 20 years ago.

Yeah well. My son is 14 and is getting into dinghy sailing in a big way. Hopefully he's got another 60 years sailing at least.

Positively, socially deviant.

Hey, if the oceans rise, more places to sail. What's the problem?

For God so loved the world..........He didn't send a committee.

I hear there is a nice anchorage at Mt Arrarat
I am quite sure civilization will still be here in 60 years. I just do not know if it will be what we recognize now. My comment was more one of age than of scinisizm. Climate change will make for some interesting changes to the current favorite cruising destinations. I would love to sail northern Alaska in my lifetime.
