Marina for Leaving Boat on the Hard

Hello I have just purchased an islander 36 and am moving it to LA. Does anyone know a good cheap marina where I can leave my sailboat on the hard for a few months. Occasionally work on it and even possibly live in it in during March/ April.

"Good boat", said the fellow Islander 36 owner.

To answer your question, not unless you want to spent a LOT more than you'd pay for a slip. Northern CA, delta area has some yards that as as cheap as I pay in Mexico.
