i want to go see about this island called Pulau Nila(Indonesia)

it's about 400 miles north-east from Kupang , i have checked everywhere there is no transportations at all, my only hope is the local fishing boat, i know they catch their fish in the Timor sea but i don't know if they would go that far or if they would, do they take passengers , i am a buget traveller but for this i'd pay a thousand if i have to.

There would't be too much going on in a place like that. Those hills are steep meaning there is no room for a large village. There might only be 100 - 200 people or something living in small camps on the shore. If there were more you would be able to see their gardens.

I agree. Why there ?

Re: i want to go see about this island called Pulau Nila(Indonesia)

Nila volcano forms completely an isolated 5 6 km wide of island with the same name in Banda Sea, Indonesia. The volcano comprises a low caldera with its rims breach into the sea surface on the south and the east side. The dominantly andesitic volcano contains a young forested cone at the elevation of 781 m height.[1]

Mount NIla is a stratovolcano, and caused the abandonment of a Rumadai village when it erupted in 1968.

Elevation: 781 metres (2,562 feet)[1]
Type: Stratovolcano
Last eruption: 1968

Small volcanic islands can be mighty inhospitable for a cruiser. I have not been to this place but here is somewhere similar. Nice beach for a picnic but beyond that . . . . .

Here's a different volcanic island. The shore is all rock and you can see the petrified bubbles formed as the lava hit the sea. Imagine a giant honeycomb. Sharp, nasty dinghy shredding stuff. I chose not to land here.
