Haul Out Facilities in SE Asia ?

Anybody know where I can haul out 59' Swan in Se Asia. I will be cruising through Indonesia heading for Thailand and need to do some work on keel somewhere along the way. Any travel lifts along the way ? thanks - Daniel

Singapore
Langkawi
Phuket

All these places have several facilities that will lift out your boat. Also there are many more of the traditional slipways, but this may not suit your need to do keel work.

If you are doing the work yourself, and have the tools/materials, I would suggest Rebak Marina, Langkawi.

Subic has a travel lift that will handle you. New manager, much better action these days.

Also Kudat has a lift and a good yard for bottom work

We've spent three weeks on the hard in Raffles Marina, also DYI, travelift and good stairs, but not sure about the size, might be too small for you, Rebak gives you only ladder and it's a bit far to town as well, but Rebak is much nicer than Raffles. Raffles Marina is rather far away from the town, but Marintech (excellent chandlery) delivers and there is (overpriced!) chandlery in the marina. When in Rebak, you can go to Satun (Thailand), viz the link in previous post, for cheap paint (International, but different names), they will can do stainless.
If you need stainless steel you need to get it in Singapore or Penang (also by ferry from Langkawi) or Thailand.
