Gulf of Thailand (Koh Samui) Bareboat in October

Want to do bareboat charter in Koh Samui in October.
Anyone know of a charter company that charters in October?
seems most of them only charter up untill end of September...

A quick internet search suggests that there can be bad weather during October /November, but opinions vary as to how bad.

If you really want to charter then why not give a charter company a call and have a chat. They'll know.

Have you checked out chartering in the Andaman Sea then. Could be a lot less risky...

Not the best time of the year, they probably move the boats elsewhere. I know that lots of the dive shops close in the region. There is a mob called dream yacht charter that have a few boats in Tioman, Malaysia, not too far south of Samui. They may be able to help you or even tell you why not in October.

The weather is pretty much the same here (Andaman sea) too. You probably can charter (Sunsail) but it could end up being a frustrating and wet couple of weeks.
