Cruising From Australia to the Marshall Islands

Hi-Im looking at cruising single handed on my Gaff rigged cutter 38ft to the Marshall islands from Adelaide. There is a work opportunity there for two years. Im a novice on solo sailing but am experienced second watch skipper on a lot of off shore races.
Has anyone got a passage plan they used from Australia as in best times and routes to go. Im thinking of early 2015. Id like any advice that's available.

Get round and up the coast to Mackay by mid April, then head East of Rossel Island off the end of PNG through the gap between Bougainville and New Ireland and then on to Marshalls. Mackay to Marshalls will be about 2000 NM
