Here is a link to a search page for the local paper. I see a couple of articles referring to repairs, docks, etc.:

I followed the Tsunami storys and i think the docks and marinas were not damaged too bad, and should be repaired mostly. I have been watching the area around Humbolt Ca and the waters are very confused with 10 ft waves at 10 seconds looks like going out and around.

sv Bella Star got a response from Crescent City.

"We got an email back from Crescent City and they have no guest moorage. They're still rebuilding the inner basin and said it'd be another 2 years. They said you could anchor in the harbor, but who knows what's lying on the bottom out there after the tsunami."

Sounds awesome! I think we'll skip it. ;-)

Sorry I guessed wrong about there marina . I guess they didn't have a big guest dock there mostly fishing vessels and locals. I would go way out and around to avoid the confused waves.

Things are moving along, but slowly. I know my fiberglass man in Medford, Oregon has been busy working on boarts in Crescent City. The Port of Brookings-Harbor in Oregon (just up the road from Crescent City) has cleaned up nicely but still has much dock work to do as well.
