Checking in at Cedros MX

Anyone here ever check in at Cedros Island? I'm leaving San Diego in about 10 days and want to stay off the coast as much as possible until I make the turn at Cabo. I used Ensenada last year. Good facility but a hassle getting in and out. Definitely not interested in Cabo or La Paz. Any info appreciated, thanks.

Re: Checking in at Cedros MX

I didn't think you could check in at Cedros. The last time we were down there (2009) you could check in at Ensenada, San Carlos in Mag Bay or wait until Cabo. I'd love to hear that I'm wrong, though.
