Brilliant idea, does he do polishing and antifouling too

Actually if Phil played his cards right he could spend every year flying to exotic destinations fixing stuff.

Yeah, but could you claim that they should pay you for supervising the repairs to make sure they're done correctly?

Hope you get to sailing sooner than later!

Shhhh! Belay that "epic voyage" talk. Poseidan might be listening and thinking: Boatman wants an epic voyage eh. Think I'll give him the Homer treatment once he starts sailing again. Then again maybe he's giving it to you already.

Ain't that the truth. Am I enjoying my boat or spending all my time fixing her? Can I tell the difference?

Confucious supposedly said, "A man is finished working on his home when he dies." He would have made a good boat owner.

Re: Change of Plan

what is the crew status now,are you taking extra for the long haul?

on the plus side the trade winds should be blowing fairly cosistently at around 10 south

No extra crew... nearly but not quite...lol
Winds have been pretty light down there just 2's and 3's but looks like they're starting to kick in later this week so as they say.. things happen for a reason I guess.. fingers crossed all goes well and we can kiss Panama goodbye round the w/end...
