My wife and I would like to try sailing for our vacation in May 2010. I am looking for a crewed catamaran that would charter by the cabin in either French Polynesia or Tonga. We can’t get any friends to travel with us to share a boat. We like snorkeling, water sports and lounging. We would also like time on shore to explore.

I shouldn't think this is a problem. Check with any of the major charter companies such as Moorings, that have charters in the area you are interested in.

Yes they do but I don't need a 57' cat for just me and my wife nor can I afford the 15k price. I'm looking to share. Think of it as carpooling

When we get to French Polynesia, I'm hoping to do a few charters to help fill the fast draining cruising kitty, so if you're looking for a charter in that area around then, I could be your man.
