Brisbane River Piles

Hi Guys

We arrived in Brisbane on Sunday 17 th April 2016 to find that many of the river mooring piles had been roped off by the council for maintenance. No new vessels are permitted to use the piles and as existing visitors leave the piles are being roped off.

As an alternative we simply anchored a little further upstream which has good holding.

Cheers

Re: Brisbane River Piles

Can you still take the tender ashore at the pontoon?

Re: Brisbane River Piles

Let us hope that they are being truthful and it is not just a ploy to move the boats off and get rid of the piles.
