Re: Boating Victoria to Seattle
Are you sailing ? How big is your boat? It's a long day sail on a catamran from Victoria to Seattle except for the boarder crossing time.

Re: Boating Victoria to Seattle
If you need a stop MacKaye Harbor, south end of Lopez. Small float but most anchor.

Re: Boating Victoria to Seattle
Easiest checkin to USA is at Roche Harbor.

That might be true, but Roche Harbor is not on a direct route from Victoria to Seattle.

Re: Boating Victoria to Seattle
You can check in at Seattle, but can't legally anchor anywhere in the USA before check in...

Re: Boating Victoria to Seattle
From the article:
"Mosquito Pass, a narrow little passage that winds treacherously between rocky shoals as the ebb currents swirl toward Haro Strait."

Re: Boating Victoria to Seattle
Victoria to Port Angeles, check in with Homeless Insecurity then down through Port Townsend and across to Seattle. Great trip and well sheltered all the way except for a couple of hours in Juan de Fuca. I love Port Townsend and Seattle for completely different reasons but I could spend a lot of time in either place.
