Baja Ha-Ha !

How many of you are going this year? We're going to haul in Ventura, the head down, anyone want to buddy boat? At 60' we are a tad slow unless it whips up to 25+!

Re: Baja Ha Ha!

I might. If I happen to arrive in California in time. At 50' we are a tad fast even at 15...

The entire event is a buddy-boat kind of thing. There's almost always someone close by, and if you work at it a little it's easy to stay close to whoever you like.

I was mainly referring to the run down to San Diego.

Re: Baja Ha Ha!

We keep our boat at Ventura Marina and live locally. I doubt we can do BahaHaHa this year ... future dream, that. Drop a line on your way through town, if you like. We can recommend some local places and always enjoy meeting folks and learning about their boats & travels.

cheers,
Nat

Or something like that - knew of the registration fee but did not realize it had climbed so much - and for a frog-march down to the southern end of Baja... but apparently they fill a niche...

To put the entry fee into some kind of prespective, what's rhe entry fee for the Caribbean 1500 or the ARC?

If you are going to be in San Diego Monday October 3rd, we are having an offshore sailing seminar and BBQ at Ullman Sails on Shelter Island that is free to all Baja Ha Ha Sailors. Please feel free to join Loco Gato!

We're in the haha this year and coming from Port Townsend, WA. Leaving here Sept 20 and hope to be in San Diego by the 1st. At 85', we also are slow and would love to buddy boat with anyone else who's not in a major hurry!

There's always more to learn and would appreciate more info on the seminar please. ccrdivers@gmail.com

Thanks!

The link was not listed correctly. In looking at it, I have no idea what would be correct.
