Anyone sailed from Marquesas to Panama?

We're looking for alternative routes from South Pacific to Panama around oktober/november. Anyone with experience out there? Could you sail from Marquesas via Pitcairn Island and Easter Island to the coast of Chile and then upwards along the coast to Panama? Or would it be better to cruise directly from Marquesas to get north of the equator and go straight for Panama?

i dont have pilot charts sitting in front of me but i'd assume you want to sail the southern ocean to chile...and then ride the Humboldt up to roughly peru. from colombia to panama there should be following seas if u stick closer to coasts.

another(imo, more enjoyable) option may be via hawaii..
