Anyone Cruising Milne Bay, PNG Dec 2012?

Anyone thinking of cruising in the Milne Bay Province of Papua New Guinea during December 2012? We live in Alotau, Milne Bay and are planning on spending our summer holiday cruising the outer islands of Milne Bay and are keen to catch up with anyone who is doing the same.

Definitely want to visit the Conflict Islands, but after that will just take it as it comes...

Hi not this year but we are working our way up the east coast of Australia and hope to sail in that area. Worked in png for a few years ..

You never know Callum,
But I didnt like the weather that time of year last year,, (neither did the Rabaul Queen) .. A nice looking vessel

Hi Andrew, not sure about the weather in your part of the world in Dec, but Milne Bay has been brilliant the last two years that we have been here.

After we removed the previous owners junk (and man he had managed to cram a heap of stuff on board), we have a bargain. On leave just now but had a great afternoon sail just before heading away and looking forward to many more to come...
