It's doable if the winds are northwesterly and you stay east of the entrance to Bolinas Lagoon
. Note that the shallows extend a good 3/4's of a mile easterly from Duxbury Reef. Note too that the seas, even from the northwest curve around Duxbury and can make the anchorage rolly but it is less so to the east, near the east end of Seadrift Lagoon. (If you look at the location on Google Earth
, you can see how the swells curve around Duxbury and into the bay.)
