At first I saw the 7-10 swells and was like "so what"? Then I saw "meters". lol

65 knots is no joke.

Throw in the lee shore for extra laughs. 8.4 meters is about 2 metres higher than the biggest seas I've seen, which were 18-20 feet for you Americans.

Re: A little wind

We had a 60 knot gust which spun up my house backup supply system's Air-X to the roaring point even though the output was dead shorted with the stop relays.
The relays are only 8 feet below the generator.

Thank you. And we Americans would appreciate it if you Canadians would keep those storms to yourselves, in the future. Passing those systems to the south tends to make us as cold and miserable as our neighbors to the north.

Alaska is fine. As a matter of fact, if you folks want to mess with Washington and Oregon, I'm cool with that. But we simply have to draw the line at California.

For two weeks now I've been able to see snow on Mt. Tamalpais from my boat in Sausalito. This situation is completely unacceptable.

You guys need water, right?

The hail is blasting the side of the house right now.

Water. Right. A few days ago we had to cancel one of my teaching labs because the creek we were going to sample in was so far out of its banks that we couldn't actually find the creek.

Me too! Idora is on the windward side of the finger pier.... I now have 6 fenders mid ship. All the lines are doubled up and she's pitching and heeling like a crazed horse. Pretty rough over here.

Del, where are you downloading that weather?

It was really wild early. We lost our power for the last three hours. We had a break and some nice sun but now it's raining buckets. I can see a bit Georgia Strait from here and this morning it was white and frothy.
