ZuluWaterways is it the new AC?

FWIW I submitted a question through ZuluWaterways site and got a very quick, very personal response... so as far as interacting with their users they're already miles ahead of Garmin!

At ZW we have begun adding icons at key west, the US Virgin Islands and some around NY/NJ. It’s just a start but we are making progress. Any help would be appreciated.

A good start would be for ZW users to focus on the ICW. In a few months lots of people will be traveling south on it and used to use Active Captain.

You must join before you can contribute. There was almost nothing in the Caribbean so I added a bunch. Once you are in, you can edit any listing.

I like the ZuluWaterways interface. It shows great promise.

I've added information about the St. Lawrence in my area, including some previously secret local knowledge

There have been some great contributors in the American region lately. Most notably is Nicholson 58 who added 125 icons over just a few days. Well done.

For those who want to support the growth of Zulu Waterways, it would be great to get the word out through posts on social media platforms. If some would consider to post in Facebook groups and the like about ZW, it would go a long way to building the user base in the US region.

Apologies...also with a huge amount of contributions is SuW who has added 95 icons. Wow! These two users have taken blank areas and made it very useful for anyone traveling those parts. And in both cases it’s not just the quantity of information added by also the quality of detailed info.

I would have added much more but we have not been back to st Martin or the BVI, ST John since last year hurricanes. My data may be useless.
