You might be "Boaty" if…
Had to laugh out loud at myself yesterday.
I had turned around backwards to descend my front porch steps like a companionway
(you know, one hand for the house, one hand for yourself :-)
Figured there are lots of these out there, if you'd like to share yours.
You might be "Boaty" if you _________!
You don't have to be sick to get better…
I got a lot smarter when I stopped knowing everything…

Re: You might be "Boaty" if…
... you have a MOB pole on your pickup
... you tie yourself in when cooking in your kitchen
... wear wet weather gear while gardening
... you sit down to pee at home
... watch the Weather channel for more than an hour
... call your neighbor on your handheld VHF

You sit down to pee, then reach for the pump handle when on land.

Re: You might be "Boaty" if…
You get up once an hour (or more often), & "take a tour" of the house checking to make sure that all is in order.
You use your microwave to dry out clothes, or to warm up your socks prior to putting them on.
- A great trick at sea BTW.
You have SPF 25 lip balm in the pocket of every jacket you own.

You might be Boaty if have two kinds of underwear in the tropics: work underwear and dress underwear. Your work underwear has varnish and oil stains; your dress underwear is suitable to entertain in when guests come for cocktails.

Re: You might be "Boaty" if…
If you take yottie (navy) showers even when ashore.
If your right foot (in my case) reaches out for the foot pump any time you need water from a faucet.
You turn off lights when not in use... always!
You start getting sleepy when the sun goes down.
If 25 mph in a car seems bloody fast.
If it is hard to sleep in a motionless bed.
If, as winter approaches, you head for a warmer anchorage (dwelling place) rather than putting on snow tires.
...
I sure feel sorry for dirt dwellers!

When you get in the car on a foggy morning and reach for the switch to turn on the radar.
( I actually did that once )

Yeah, The autopilot in my new pickup can't helm worth a dam, even when the GPS is telling it "turn right, turn right".
