We're a W/wide membership why not... let the 'Yellow Perils' spread.....
Also a great way of knowing if its a CF friendly town... sorta like the old Gypsy Signs for good and bad places/houses to stop at...

The idea sounds ok. But as others have said. the liability to the marina, the maintainance issues and theft problem may just make it not worth while. Sadly.
