We are trying to get a quote to take Golden
Rule, a 39 ft
ketch, from
Japan back to the US
West Coast any time after September. We're thinking we'll crate her and get her on top of a load of containers, but at 39 ft long, 11.5 ft wide and 10 ft high, she won't fit into a standard container. So we'll have to build one. Given that we can probably do that, we're still having a hard time getting a quote from either a
shipping company or a freight forwarding company. Any ideas? Before we sail her to
Japan, we need to know how we'll get her back to the US.
