Yacht Delivery

I was perusing this form......

Something like this would really eliminate the horror strories you hear about.

It would also prevent cheapskates from screwing the crews...........

None of this "How about getting a crew together to take my boat to ""The land of the tall palm trees"".........and then leaving them stranded or refusing to pay on some bs allegation.

Chief-I have a feeling that a cheapskate or rip off artist is not going to let a piece of paper change the way he does business-? I think people who are intent on screwing you will find a way to justify not paying you, this will only work for an honest person- then just sail away- I think most folks are honest

The form was rather interesting.

About 60% to be paid BEFORE the trip plus airfare home.

and the other part about arresting the boat...was a nice touch

I just stay on the boat till I get paid, if it isn't forthcoming take something of equal value off the boat (not hard) and fly home. Who needs lawyers?
