Winter Sailing!

550 miles to Scotland from the South Coast in December and not one other yacht spotted en route...

https://youtu.be/hqQlLxqkTV0

It was a fabulous trip!

Re: Winter Sailing!

Nice video, Pete. Cold water sailing is a unique experience. Good luck and safe sailing.

Petethedeliveryskipper:

Hi - Mike and I sailed the Northumbrian coast year round and apart from the odd fog and high seas in winter - it taught us to be safe, adventurous sailors mindful of weather. Sailing in winter is at times lonely, but what wonderful uninterrupted vistas can be logged into our memory banks. We sailed in winter in the Puget Sound area but are now enjoying the summer season in Tasmania. Thanks for the memories. Sue
