Windlass Identify Please

I had to chop the shaft to get this windlass motor out and have no idea what the windlass is that it came off because all the top parts were missing from the last person trying to get it apart.

The motor works fine and would like to just possibly buy the rest of the unit
Serial number brings up no hits on google and dont see a model# on it

It came off a 33' hunter 2006

I can’t help with brand identity. But I’d be willing to be that the sum of the parts is greater than the cost of the whole.

You can call Lewmar at (203-458-6200) and ask their technical service department. You might need to send them some photos for identification.
I would agree with SAILMONKEY though, that it might be more cost effective to buy a complete new unit.

Re: Windlass Identify Please

You'd think that, wouldn't you?
But with Lewmar, there are no such assurances. They don't get too uptight about maintaining bolt-hole patterns and such, even for the same nominal model, over the years. I've been burned that way before...
