Hi,

this is a bit different question, an all u blokes won't know cos ya just proberbly like me, I do the outside and she can do the inside lol hahaha

My question is most Catamarans have double bed thats good, but they are all up against walls by three sides.

How difficult do you find this chore?

Why arn't the beds made so that you can access the fitting of sheets ect.

I realise a downer is easy but the fitted or unfitted sheets would **** me no end in having to climb all over the bed to fit them

What are your ways to acomplish this task.

Start fitting the sheet under the far side of the matress first and work backwards.
A duvet can be changed very easilly, so no probs there.

Get elasticated sheets... you know the ones that snug under...
Pull out the cushion.. fit the sheet on then chuck it back in... add pillows then duvet... job done.... lmao

Well, here's the deal...

There's no way in he... that I'd be able to reduce my standard of boats to the point that ease of making the bed determined what boat I'd buy.

Looks, performance, load carrying etc etc have a lot of influence but... ease of making the bed??? I can endure bumping my head three times and working up a sweat trying to make the bed up with fresh linens every couple weeks. The daily routine is no problem and Anjou's duvet suggestion is spot on.

I've no idea how it too acomplish this task, but I assure you it can be done - I've seen it - creaseless, pristine sheets.

It's just one of those magical things that I'm quite happy to marvel at, but never actually need the answer to - Like how do my socks always seem to find their exact partner before making it back to my sock drawer?

Actually the question I've been pondering is, how the heck am I going to put a fitted sheet on my triangular V-berth mattress? I'm debating modifying a store-bought sheet or just stuffing the excess under the mattress.

Many v-berths (like mine) are queen sized but cut diagonaly and the pointy ends at the bow. . We bought a queen sized temperpiedic 1" thick mattress top that is easy to pull half way off and fit the fitted sheets then push them back. lt is worth the effort to get the sheets made
