Which is it?? Coconut Milk Run or Pacific Puddle Jump?

I've heard both describe the trip from PV to NZ through the French Polynesians. Is there a difference?

Re: Which is it?? Coconut Milk Run or Pacific Puddle Jump?

The route description is the "coconut run." However there is a group formed each season of cruisers heading that way and they are known as the "Pacific Puddle Jumpers."

- - The Pacific Puddle Jumpers is an annual thing and each year they share information and idea about the passage. Previous year's cruisers chime in and relate their experiences to help the new season's boats heading out. See: Pacific Puddle Jump Official Web Site

- - Also have a Yahoo group set up for conversing and trading information. If are seriously planning to actually do the South Pacific then the PPJ group is the way to interact with fellow cruisers who have and are about to do the same thing.

Ok. I have been planning to do this run for a couple of years. This is the year.
