Which Inflatable ?

Hi, i have recently purchased a 10m sailing Cat (seawind) and it came with a 3.15m aluminium dinghy powered just by a 3.5hp tohatsu. Existing boat is heavy, hard to secure and difficult to launch off beach due to weight and well underpowered.

Can anyone provide any recommendations as to what is a well respected inflatable brand? Am looking at around 2.9m with hard bottom. Main purpose is doing 100m runs to beach but may also be used to do long runs up river dropping in some crab pots etc. I am thinking between 6 and 9.9hp.

Look for an AB or a CAribe with a 15 hp. They are the most common in the Caribbean. I am intrigued by a Walker Bay Genesis 340.

For about 40 years I have used the Zodiac brand, having now #3 the Cadet, before I had the MkIV and after that the MkV.
Had never any issue.

And it sound like you would do best with a planing hull, and a motor that put it on plane (probably at least 8hp, depending on the dinghy and typical load)
