and as much chain as you can afford to have (space wise) bring peace of mind and are, after all is being said and done, cheap insurance
. The biggest anchor
that fits on the bow roller is a pretty good rule
of thumb. Have a backup one as well. And, while cruising anywhere - the wonderful Bahamas
among others - a good inflatable dinghy
with a good - 8 hp at least - outboard
. Your taxi has got to be reliable, large enough for two and supplies, and as confortable as can be in a seaway. Fair winds!
