I would definitely recommend moving your trip to October or November if you want to go to the
BVI, that is just because of the risk of
weather messing up your travel plans. We have flotillas as mentioned in the
BVI which would be a great option for you all, you could
charter a small mono
hull if you would like it to just be the two of your on board and would have access to a lead crew for the duration of the trip, they will help answer any of your questions, you can hire your own
skipper for a flotilla as well.
If you are thinking
Croatia, which is gorgeous by the way, we have a new product called a Hero Flotilla based there in which you go on Flotilla with a skipper and get your
ICC certification while you are sailing for the week. This is incredible because it opens you up to sailing in the
Med anytime you want in future years! (This is something I think lots of people on the blog might be excited about as the ICC has long been something which holds people back from getting a chance to sail
Med destinations at will.) Here's a link, we just launched it last week:
Learn How to Sail Vacationing in Croatia | Sunsail USA
Hope that helps a bit, feel free to
email me with any questions, I love to see new people getting on a charter, you will never want to stay in a
hotel on
vacation again.
