Easy Choice for us.

1) It made my wife happy.
2) I can still single hand it.
3) See #1!!

Coming from a 26 foot trailer sailer with < 8 foot beam ... this MADE MY WIFE HAPPY on Lake Michigan!

Sails flat..... (the Admiral likes that)
Living space above water line
Speed of trawler yachts, economy of sail boats

1. My wife loves to sail it.
2. My wife loves to entertain aboard it.
3. My wife loves just hanging out on the boat, especially when we're on the hook.

Wondering how many wives would agree with all these confessions?

I think it goes something like this

"it makes him happy so why not"

After a memorable blow on Lake Michigan, the Admiral had a "jaws" moment and said; "Paul, we need a bigger boat!". LM really isn't the place to spend a lot of time sailing a water ballast MacGregor.

So I said to myself ... "if it makes her happy ..."

The misses likes the interior.
Sea kindly so that the misses is more comfortable.
Worthy of a long term circumnavigation.

I wouldn't remove anything. My must haves were fairly simple. See above.
