Wet Week in PNW

Hi All,

It was a wet week in the San Juans but we managed some great sailing. Nothing broke except one of the galley sinks. (How do you break a sink?) I don't know it's stainless and it started leaking at the mounting for the drain. I pulled it this morning and will change it out. Nice sailing conditions and we even saw a Grey Whale in the Strait of Juan de Fuca, along the north shore of Whidbey Island.

We have had fog on Whidbey Island every night for the last week or so.
It usually breaks up about lunchtime, although it's definitely still here as I write this.

pirate foggy rainage

The fog and rain actually added an element of fun to the whole thing. My sons ( who live in dry country) were amused by the pleasure I took in putting on the gortex and making the tide regardless of the wet.

Thanks Rain that bright work is a work always in progress.
