Video of My Delivery On YouTube

Put together a film documenting the final week of my Catalac 900's delivery down from the UK to the Costa Del Sol that you may be interested in. My thanks again to our own 'boatman61' who made the trip possible;

Boatman looks like a small brown dog. So cute.

Re: Video of my delivery on YouTube

You did a good job with the video. As I am not familiar with your part of the world what was the total distance of this passage? Sounds like you are happy with your purchase.

Thanks, one of the good things about MS Windows 7 is Windows Movie Maker you get with it, pretty nice bit of software. The distance covered on the video was just under 600nm.

Re: Video of my delivery on YouTube

I use that software as well & it is good isn't it. It came on my notebook which has Windows XP on it. It really looks like you had a great trip and it was good I suppose to give the boat a bit of a shakedown in windier conditions like you experienced. These hulls have solid foredecks don't they with no nets but as was mentioned in the vid it was not slamming. Congratulations on your purchase.

Re: Video of My Delivery On YouTube

Put it this way, I now have FAR more confidence in her as almost from day 1, I found out what she could handle. Unless it blows up unexpectantly, it's unlikely i'll be out in those conditions again deliberately, if I was just cruising, i'd probably made for a safe heaven but as it was a delivery not a pleasure cruise, we put up with it.

Sure, she will slam if going into the waves, the trick is to keep them aft of the beam and then she's fine.
