VDO guages or alternatives

I am looking to completely replace all my VDO gauges (we have 16), as well as senders etc.

I have been looking at VDO's latest viewline. The current gauges we have are VDO, but I'm wondering if there are any other NON VDO gauges that people would recommend. VDO seem to have the market covered but are there any other more economical options?

Can anyone give me a good contact for putting together a whole package of

2 x (Tacho (85mm dia), Engine temp, Engine pressure, Gearbox Temp, Gearbox pressure, Voltage) Fuel x 4.

I bought gauges off e-bay.... but I'm not sure I would recommend it. All the gauges work fine, but the quality doesn't look/feel like VDO. I decided to give them a chance and see how long they work.
