Useful Wx Reports

I'm looking for a web page with useful explanations of our weather reports. One that shows the fronts and stuff along with some explanation.

I remember as a kid Dad used to watch the weather every night as he was a bayman and the weather his constant companion. He wanted to know how bad it was gonna be or if he should do other things. In the 50's and 60's the weathermen showed a national map with the fronts moving through and maybe some talk of the jet stream, etc.

Now I don't have a TV but that's OK because the weathermen I have seen, well enough said.

So, is there a useful site that has this kind of reportage? I think it would help my weather skills if I could watch the weather progress and get a better understanding of what is going on.

Many thanks
