This has been typical of the service that I have been receiving from this Federal office over the years. I have heard a number of stories bad-mouthing them. I just wanted to reveal the other side of the story, as Paul Harvey used to say!

You can't mix renewals with new documentation and changes. Renewals have always been quick, but new issues and changes are consistently 4-6 months turn around. That's worst than most third world countries.
