Oh True, The US government is slow. Give them 10 years and it will be in CFR 33 too. CFR 33 does not even require GFI yet. The EU has the US beat on the codes for sure.

I ran the copper pipe inside 1/2" poly because I did not trust it not to vibrate and wear holes where it touched other metal parts, worked OK for 25 years. Also a good source of solenoid valves is the ones they use for gas installations in autos.

Yrs nothing wrong with copper for Gas. Flexible hose each end. And copper clipped every 18 inches. Last forever. I mean what's the alternative . Rubber hose ! , please

That's why I queried your comment, my belief was it applied to commercial boats.
