Tsunami Debris

Am concerned about hitting debris while sailing from Canada to Mexico. Are there any reports on how far off shore this stuff is floating.

Re: Tsunami debris

The majority of it right now is still north of Hawaii, will be circulating towards west coast for some time.NOAA has a video 'Visualizations" on youtube, showing movement of concentrations of debris over next few years.

Re: Tsunami Debris

I wonder if the military or coast guard are sinking any large debris?
