Trying to think of everything before I go

Im leaving for France in a few days to do a Sea trail/shake down on my new boat & work on installing all the systums, ssb, raymarine "e" 120, radar ,navtex, high out put altanator, charger, inverter ect, ect, to name only a few , I want to thank everyone who has posted so much on so many subjects that i (hope) i have learned from enough to help me install all of these systums. Im sure I can figure it all out somehow and plan to be cruising in the next 2-3 weeks. (i hope) After postponeing the trip a few weeks, because Its hard to get life all together, im almost ready to go! I shipped a create full of gear (1200 pounds) full of stuff and im hoping french customs lets me squeek on by with out too much of a delay.

Im going from La Rachelle France south to Spain the first month & then Im going where the wind takes me, crossing the Atlantic with the ARC likly this winter and making my way up to Fl.
I hope i have my wifi set up right, if so I will be back with my ear to this board
Thanks Everyone & good Luck and I hope to meet some of you on my way!

Oh boy, oh boy! What fun. I'm looking at doing the same thing in July '07. I would really like to hear how it goes for you, how you find the help to be in France, etc.

So, do stay in touch!

Ram, sounds like you have it covered. The only things you are lacking are the things you do not know you need. BY the time you cross the Atlantic, I suspect you will have that list covered. Congrats and fair winds

All the best, and saying, "have fun" seems such a stupid thing to say, but I can't think of anything less stupid, so "Have Fun".
Oh and Murphy's law states that you will have every tool you need, except the one you want.

Good luck, keep us up to date as you go!

A kit report - benefit/suitability/serviceability/worth the money etc. would be great!
