Time lapse video

We were the first to start in a pursuit race on Saturday. Knowing that the times weren't staggered very well, I mounted the action cam on the stern railing to catch what I could of the rest of the fleet passing me. The best pics are probably as we rounded the first mark and passed the rest of the fleet bunched up.

It seems everyone else can imbed the video, but it doesn't seem to be working on preview, so if you are interested, you can follow the link.

Re: Time lapse video

I see from you profile that you have a Pearson 39. Surely it wasn't the slowest boat on the water that day?

Even the Catalina 34's can usually catch us downwind. However, in this case I totally botched the windward leg. I tacked early because the most aggressive racer was passing me closer than I was comfortable with for my first sail without my partner, then I didn't commit to it enough, so luffed a bit trying to get past an obstacle before I finally tacked back, then I floundered at the mark...Start and all other marks were near perfect, but wow, did I mess that one leg up bad.
