Remember When... Pepperidge Farm Remembers.

This is the second yacht like this to pass by today. Earlier it was Triumphant Lady.

It's like watching proud new owners of a Hummer getting out of their vehicle at the local drive-in.

Here's our neighbour for a night in Ensenada Grande on Isla la Partida near La Paz - Attessa. A couple from our group kayaked around their boat and wouldn't you know it, they didn't get invited aboard for a beer!

People with money go to sea to get away from people, not to meet more people.

I don't have money, but I certainly understand the sentiment-- it's one of the things I like best about the sea.

Love anchoring in the same bay, watching the same sunset, feeling the same breeze, watching the same birds, swimming in the same sea, and knowing I'm doing it cheaper than the 10% of capital per annum its costs to run those things. "A" is awesome though, we know her well, had a tour, lunch on board, impressive! Amazing hull shape (see DDG1000 or Zumwalt Class USN) and of all the toys on board the best was a 100% transparent kayak.

Yep, boats are a great equaliser when it comes to enjoying this world.
I love the design and craftmanship of the super-yacht world but prefer the cosiness of a small boat.

Nope, no helicopter ride either!

These super yachts are beautiful and fantastic vessels, but I'd have to agree with some of the other comments. To have your own boat and the freedom to sail it to wherever you want and enjoy the sites and people along the way is what is most important.

Now one other impressive boat was the catamaran Hemisphere. We saw her at St. Georges, Grenada and that was truly impressive.

Gorgeous! I wonder if that hot tub sloshes around at all in big seas

I agree, I love travelling around by boat to beautiful and interesting locales! I hope to one day go far and wide.

We had some fantastic ones in this summer too, but Athena was my favorite! It was pretty neat to be able to walk the dock to see such a huge sailboat.

With the 200' tall masts, she took over the harbor. It was quite a sight. The picture on the website I posted do not do Athena justice.
