Could it be because the acronym MMGW is a generalized whereas a denier is person specific. Here is an idea how about instead of the term denier you use the word skeptic .
That or you I suppose could use the acronym NCCB natural climate change believer.
I prefer to use the phrase suggested by Katharine Hayhoe - "Dismissive of cliamte science" , which I further break down into "Deceiver" and "Deceived". You (newhaul) are one of the latter.

I call myself an "affirmer of climate science". I do not believe in climate science; that is for the religious, science is based on evidence. The great believers set in the climate debate are the sun-worshipers in the Cult of Ra.

This might help you:

The word "theory" means something very different in lay language than it does in science: A scientific theory is an explanation of some aspect of the natural world that has been substantiated through repeated experiments or testing. But to the average Jane or Joe, a theory is just an idea that lives in someone's head, rather than an explanation rooted in experiment and testing.

The theory of gravity is a scientific theory. Your theory is the "average Jane or Joe" variety.
